Before founding Claim Wars, Tex spent years working inside a national insurance carrier, gaining a rare insider’s perspective on how the industry truly operates. He witnessed firsthand the tactics insurers use to minimize payouts, delay claims, and pressure individuals into accepting less than they deserve.
That experience shaped his strategic approach to advocacy. Today, Tex uses that knowledge to outmaneuver insurance companies at every turn, ensuring his clients stay several steps ahead throughout the claims process. In addition to leading Claim Wars, Tex also serves as a mock trial coach at UNT Dallas College of Law, where he trains future litigators in the art of strategic case building and courtroom advocacy, reinforcing the same trial-ready discipline he brings to every client file.
